The moment I woke that Friday I cast the curtains open to see that the skies were clear, which meant that the camp was a go. If I was going to make it into the Elite Scouts like I planned, I would need to complete whatever obstacle lay before me out in those woods. It would be my first time out at that campsite and the best way to be prepred is to know as much information as possible going in, although I didn’t really have anyone to confirm with. I felt a mix of nerves and excitement wash over me as I approached the entrance. I grabbed my bag and slung the strap over my shoulder, heading towards the designated tent I was assigned to.
